New Album Release ~ Abraham Jam Live!

So ~ a Muslim, a Christian, and a Jew walk onto a stage…  It’s no joke! It’s Abraham Jam!

This trio of seasoned singer/songwriters — Billy Jonas, Dawud Wharnsby, and David LaMotte— team up to make the case that, harmony is greater than unity. Their debut live CD (also available for digital download) captures the beauty of their brotherhood and the essence of their collective passions for peace and justice, through songs rooted in all three of their respective spiritual traditions.

“Abraham Jam Live!” features 16 eclectic tracks, including the 1400 year old Muslim hymn “Tala’a Al Badru ‘Alayna”, an uplifting rendition of the 1960’s classic “Get Together” and songs co-written with King David and Francis of Assisi!  A snap-clap-sing-along in Hebrew, Arabic and English ~ guaranteed to make you drum on your knees, sing out, well up with emotion and hopefully join Abraham Jam at putting a little More Love into the world.

  4. Dearest Lisa, hoping all is well and that you are still singing. Loved the videos you sent via Skype! “Don’t be a Stranger” ~ indeed, nice title. Who will write that song, you or I? 😉 As the site is re-vaped a little over the next month, hoping you will feel comfortable to post here with more songs for us all to enjoy?

  5. Peace Azra, missing you gang too! Still owe you interview answers…haven’t forgotten. Just been going through a lot of thinking these days and your questions were quite deep!

  8. I’d swear I left one more comment here with more questions about your future plans regarding music and new songs but on my surprise I see now I didn’t 😀 probably didn’t upload it well, but as it was before I saw new articles, it’s ok because most answers I found in them. I’m glad you create and looking forward to new melodies. I’m also happy this page is alive and you didn’t completely cut all virtual contacts and friendships. Peace and blessings .

  9. Aw, thank you my sister. How wonderful that you grew up seeing that old Adam’s World “Ramadan” episode and even looked forward to it during each season of fasting. I was just preparing a clip from that episode for the next Timeline upload in March! I had no idea it aired on television in Bosnia back in those days! “Assalamu alaykooooooom!”
