  1. Assalamu ‘alaikum.

Masha Allah, the girls are so grown up! So amazing that they are taking such an active part in the Give 30 campaign in Kitchener-Waterloo. May Allah (SWT) keep them connected the sunnah of generosity and helping those in their community. May I share this to our local Give 30 Facebook page for Kingston (the other Ktown)?

    Wassalamu ‘alaikum.

  2. Salams brother Dawud! So wonderful to see your daughters on here! They seem so cool. Really exciting to see them take such pride in this campaign and be such passionate young ladies masha’Allah. I would love to meet them one day. It was lovely to see you on the ISB zoom call the other day, it brightened my week. Wishing you and your family a peaceful and fulfilling Ramadan. (By the way, I’m trying to do much more with my own poetry, you can find it on my page). Peace and prayers – Zahra

  3. As salamu alaikum dear Mona and Zahra ~ wonderful to hear from you both in your resepctive corners of the globe! Mona, please do feel free to share the video on the Kingston Give 30 FB page…and Zahra, it was such a delight for me to see you during the on-line program recently as well! I will be sure to pop over to your page and check out some of your new poetry.

  4. It was such a pleasant surprise to see you! My sister sent me the link on the same day. Great to see your enthusiasm for song and community thriving – even from your own home! Thanks so much, that would mean a lot to me.

Assalamu alaikoum Dawud I’ll second what Zahra said it was so nice to see you the other day I think a lot of people felt very emotional seeing you after so long. Brought back many memories of living Islam and Willowbrook. Mashallah your daughters are fair growing up and nice to see them getting involved with new ventures and the video they made just brought a big smile to my face thank them for that. Took away a bit of the stress of packing two weeks tomorrow we move. maybe I’ll meet you all in Scotland one day eh. Take care and salams to the everyone.

As Salamu alaikum and Ramadan Mubarak
Thank you to you and your beautiful daughters for making this wonderful video. My children and I enjoyed watching it together. I thought it was perfectly done; a really simple but effective way to motivate everyone, especially young people to get involved in showing kindness and helping the most needy.
I’ve shared it with all my friends and teacher contacts as teachers are always looking for good resources of explaining what Ramadan is.
May Allah bless this campaign now and in the future
    Jazakallah Khair
